The Days with Pirates and shopping

Tuesday the 31st was a packed day as all the others were. It started as always with Corey teaching us more about Pittsburgh. That day he talked about its recent past and how it developed into the direction which it currently follows. Before we drove to the baseball game, which we all were excited about, we got a good grammar workout and a good lesson about the basics of baseball. After a little time gap, we departed to go to Pittsburgh PNC Park. That’s the home stadium of the Pittsburgh baseball team – the Pirates!

From PNC Park you have an incredibly good view of Pittsburgh. Equipped with hot dogs, nachos, and drinks we cheered the Pirates on to victory against the Chicago Cups.

Wednesday was just about the preparation for our council discussion on Thursday. We all got instructed separately by Corey for our roles. At the English class we also got extra time to work on our presentations. Before this we talked about the “Darwin Award”. We learned about how you to get one and which people already earned one. A topic which detected the ones among us, who have a morbid sense of humor. To round up the day we ate ice cream at Sarris Candy’s before we visited Tanger Outlet for shopping.
